FORM FOLLOWS FORMWORK pt. III

Turns out it took more than the weekend to grind the top. But that's another story to be told at another post. For the time being, let's look at what comes after the formwork dis-assembly. We had a bit of a change installed for the kitchen floor. Instead of just cutting a portion that is the kitchen itself, we decided to do something more challenging:

I was a bit skeptical on whether we can actually do this without making the tiler go blietzkrieg on us..but to my surprise, he said "sure, let's do this". And this is how it turned out...

day 16

day 18
Plaster ceiling added. It's about time!

And I totally forgot to mention the other parts of my house being renovated at the same time..Here's the Master bath, obliterated.

day 20
Kitchen floor tiles laid, partially...

day 24
